Budapest, Hungary: ‘Refugees Welcome’ banner from anarchists

Today, the referendum which is related to the EU refugee quota is happening in Hungary. The referendum, which asks Hungarians to accept 1,294 refugees legally into their country, is being transformed into an anti-refugee campaign by the government of Victor Orban. Both the EU quota and the referendum leave the future of the oppressed to the decision of oppressors. We, as the activists who are in Hungary, do not accept the borders which are defined by states and the law. It does not matter the result of the referendum, we keep our struggle and solidarity for no borders, no deportations, and no exploitation of the earth.

Neither the Dictatorship of Orban nor EU Democracy!

Viva for the Earthlings!
