Yesterday, 29th of April, refugees at Aspri Ammos (White Sand) refugee camp in Kavala protested the bad living conditions they are forced to endure, which resulted in the main road in front of the camp being blocked for thirty minutes.
According to refugees, they live among snakes and scorpions and are given mouldy sadwiches, while fruit and vegetables are not part of their diet. Also, their tents are set up on soil so when it rains the water gets inside.
